Port flexibility: There are two methods of operation – (1) the standard master control method, and (2) the method of assigning sub-control commands. This provides maximum port flexibility when configuring DMX cables. For large DMX network installations, the termination function can be enabled to prevent physical signal reflections that may occur due to long-distance signal transmission. The “Last Hold” function allows the lighting intensity to be maintained even when the system control signals are interrupted, thus preventing the lights from going dark. An advanced RDM function enables management and setup of all downstream lighting devices using any standard RDM controller. The DMX-512 control rate can be adjusted; the DMX-512 signals sent from the control unit can be reconfigured through the RDM-8-Distributor to suit various downstream DMX devices, ensuring smooth operation of all devices within the DMX network and perfect reproduction of every action and color effect.
